^ Jorge Cori becomes youngest grandmaster at 14 years Jorge Cori (born July 30, 1995 in Peru) is a Peruvian Chess prodigy. He is the highest ranked Under-16 player in the Americas, sixth ranked in Peru and number 10 Under-16 player in the world.

He is the brother of Deysi Estela Cori Tello who is a Woman Grandmaster herself. He was awarded the Fide Master title in 2004 when he was 9 years old. Cori became grandmaster when he was 14 years old in October, 2009.[2][3]
