I due contendenti non erano ubriachi o sotto  l'effetto di sostanze che sviluppano le facoltà individuali in maniera abnorme, ma due GM che presumibilmente volevano concludere l'incontro dividendo il punto, in un modo un tantino inconsueto...

FIDE Women World Rapid and Blitz Championships 2014

The FIDE Women World Rapid and Blitz Championships 2014 will be held from 21st April (arrival) to 29th April (departure) at the beautiful Ugra Chess Academy in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia.... The first World Rapid and Blitz Championships for women were held in 1992, with Susan Polgar claiming both titles. The next Blitz Championship was in 2010 with Kateryna Lagno winning the trophy. Georgian city Batumi organized the World Rapid and Blitz Championships in 2012. Antoaneta Stefanova (Rapid) and Valentina Gunina (Blitz) were the champions.

The 2014 FIDE Women World Rapid and Blitz Championships is concluding the chess spring in Khanty-Mansiysk, following the FIDE World Candidates Tournament and FIDE Women Grand Prix.

L'ormai consueto match tra "Biondine" e le "Brunette" ha avuto luogo il 1 ° aprile presso il ristorante "Carlson" di Mosca. In questa occasione Caissa ha favorito le Bionde che hanno prevalso in modo perentorio... Il GM Valentina Gunina (nella foto sottostante) e il Maestro Internazionale Maria Fominikh hanno registrato i migliori risultati individuali ottenendo il notevole punteggio di 8,5 / 9 punti.Il IM Alina Bivol, sempre per le Biondine ne ha raccolto ben 8.
